What is an AD Code?
An Authorized Dealer Code is a 14-digit numerical code issued by your bank (Authorized Dealer) and is linked to your IEC (Importer Exporter Code). It is mandatory for customs clearance of exports and imports in India.
Without registration at the port of export, shipping bills cannot be generated, and no export benefits (like RoDTEP, Drawback, RoSCTL) can be claimed.
